We founded L&J’s Better Benefits after experiencing firsthand the financial hardship that follows an unexpected loss.
In many North African and Black communities, life insurance is often misunderstood or avoided. When someone passes, families are left grieving,  and scrambling to raise money through churches and community collections just to cover funeral expenses.
We’ve seen it. We’ve lived it.
And we knew there had to be a better way.
